    This is an amazing book! It is so uplifting in a world with so much doubt! I picked it up mainly because of the football story line (I’m a girl who loves college football) and it’s set in Savannah my home town, BUT it’s so much more. I was down on my faith before I read this book.

    If you like football and Christianity, you will like this book. And if you don’t, this book may convert you to either… Sullivan's felicity with the writing craft is immediately apparent in the prologue and moves adroitly from there into the body of the novel. His writing skills made this a delightful read and an easy book to recommend.

    At first, it seems like a football story, but it is much, much more than that. You quickly get attached to the cast of characters at a small, Southern college, then you are drawn into their grappling with faith issues, and then you can’t put the book down! It is marvelous, and I look forward to the author’s next book.

    I bought this book as a favor to my friend… Little did I know I would be captivated by Sullivan’s use of the English language. His style of writing is mesmerizing and I found myself re-reading sentences simply due to the elegance with which he composed them. I couldn't put the book down...
